This 3-day intense face-to-face seminar with blended learning elements on the World Triathlon Education & Knowledge Hub was led by Norman Brook (GBR) and Lucy Mills (GBR) from Brook Sport Consulting and co-facilitated by Felix Molina (MEX) from World Triathlon. The purpose of the course was to help develop and refine facilitation skills in addition to specific triathlon knowledge and skills that facilitator candidates already possess as a foundation.

World Triathlon Head of NF Services & Development- Zita Csovelyak stated:

“The World Triathlon Development welcomes fourteen newly trained facilitators to the TRI Facilitator Community. Since 2017 this has been the first facilitator course aiming to increase and level up our Spanish-speaking facilitator capacity in the Americas. The participants finally could benefit from World Triathlon Facilitator Training online content that was developed on the Education & Knowledge Hub before the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world. This was the first time that candidates were trained specifically for online delivery as well. The next step for the newcomers will be to get familiar with TRI educational systems and assign them for courses where they will get further mentorship and guidance from fellow facilitators.
